As of December 31, 2024, current interest rates for mortgages and refinances are: 
  • 30-year fixed mortgage: 7.04% average interest rate, 7.02% average refinance rate
  • 15-year fixed mortgage: 6.36% average refinance rate
  • 5-year adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM): 7.358% average APR
Mortgage rates are expected to ease down in 2024, but may remain in the 6% range into early 2025.

    6.875% interest rate with no CalHFA DPA, 7.000% interest rate with CalHFA DPA 
  • CalPLUS Conventional

    7.000% interest rate
